Mr. Dan brings over 15 years of experience in Montessori education and holds certifications in both Early Childhood and Lower Elementary. With a unique background that blends technical expertise and educational insight, he holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University and another in Education from Xavier University—an intersection that allows him to merge analytical thinking with a deep understanding of child development.
Outside the school, Mr. Dan is a devoted husband and proud father of three, all graduates of The Springs or our sister school, The Woods. He enjoys reading fantasy novels and cheering on his children at their lacrosse games.
Ms. Elisa is originally from Italy and came to the US for the first time in 2019 as an au pair. Before embarking on this journey, she completed a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation from the University of Padova and got a CELTA certificate from Cambridge University. She worked in customer service and communications for almost three years and has a certification in event planning and marketing. She loves languages and speaks Italian, English, Spanish, and French.
Ms. Elisa has always loved children and used to lead children's church programs in her hometown. She joined The Springs' staff in January 2022 and manages the admission process, social media presence, and planning of school-wide events.
Markia has been an Assistant Teacher at our sister school, The Woods, for 8 years. She is super excited for this opportunity to transition into an Administrative role.
She’s worked with children as small as infants all the way up to school aged children. She enjoys being able to see the excitement on a child’s face when they accomplish something. She also enjoys how she’s able to learn from them too.
During her leisure time she enjoys spending time with her son (11), singing, and dancing.
